Collected Information
When you provide personally identifiable information to Kship we collect a variety of data from you. That includes, but is not limited to you, your name, e-mail address, billing address, security question (and answer), credit card or other payment information and a password.
We may also collect the URL from which you linked into our site, your IP address, your browser type and version, and a history of your actions on our website.
We also, as a manner of course, collect information from you which is required to establish and maintain an account with us, some of which may be personally identifiable, depending on your needs and the needs of your hosted data.
Use of Collected Information
Privacy is something we take very seriously. With the exception of trusted business affiliates and/or associates who work on behalf of or in connection with Kship, we will not provide or sell to any third party your personal information and will keep all such data confidential.
Kship customers with established accounts may review and alter the contact information associated with their Kship account(s) at the following URL: https://kship.com.
Kship Network’s primary business operations are located in the state of Texas in the United States. As such, Kship is subject to obey the laws of this jurisdiction and may be called upon by various law enforcement agencies to comply with ongoing investigations. Compliance may include the secure handover of customer data to a legally-authorized government agency.
When permitted by law Kship will disclose to any customer that is the subject of a government investigation and any data requests pertaining to customers’ personally identifiable information and/or hosted data.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our websites’ homepages or sending you a notification).
SMS, Phone, and Communication Services
Kship may collect mobile telephone numbers, office telephone numbers, caller identification information, communication preferences, and records of consent when customers choose to receive text-message or phone communications from Kship.
With a customer’s consent, Kship may send transactional communications related to account access, service requests, email migration appointments, account security, support, billing, and other customer-service matters. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Customers may opt out of Kship text messages at any time by replying STOP. Customers may reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages does not affect other methods of communication related to an account or service.
Kship may use trusted communications service providers, including Telnyx, to transmit and receive phone calls and text messages. These providers process communication information only as necessary to provide services to Kship and its customers.
Kship does not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
For security and support purposes, Kship may maintain records relating to communication activity, including the phone number, date and time, message status, caller verification status, and support history. Kship retains this information only as long as reasonably necessary for security, service delivery, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and recordkeeping.
Where permitted by applicable law and when disclosed to participants, Kship may record or retain calls for quality assurance, training, security, or support purposes.
Whois Privacy Services
Please note that the contact information that you provide to us is used to register your domain name and is, by the very nature of the domain registration system, available for public viewing in many places on the Internet via the use of the ‘whois’ tool.
Whois Privacy, which masks your whois contact information via proxy, as offered by Kship does not act as a shield from legal liability in conjunction with Domain Registration. In order to preserve neutrality in disputes between 3rd parties and domain registrants, Kship will act in accordance with ICANN Registrar Accreditation agreement section 3.7.7.3 upon receipt of actionable evidence of illegal activity. This means that identifying information will be provided to law enforcement and officials of the court including attorneys as situations require in order to preserve Kship Network’s neutrality in any litigation.
